I came by a free CRT 2 days ago and a free cabinet yesterday, the fit is something we dreamed about in 1991. (Yes it has room to breathe, all vents are on back)

In your opinion is there a time and place for a AV cart in a gaming setup? I imagine a 20in on top, consoles at mid level and a cabinet on the bottom with all the games. The power strip attached to them looks ideal.

Today I grabbed a 27" Sony Trinitron model KV-27V42 off marketplace. It was an hour drive but what the hell, it was only $25. My question is if it hasn't been used for 20 years should I start it with a Variac? Or is that just a tube thing I got from my HiFi background?

Hello, new here and I have a ? Regarding storage: I have about 200 VHS but only a 20 VHS stacking tower. I am out of floor space so I'd love to get something on the wall. I know the company that made cd/tape storage also made some wooden VHS shelves. Are there any other options?

New (cheap bass) arrived today, as the temperature is 8°F I ensured I followed all directions for acclimating it. It's currently in its box, in the tank so the water temps gradually even out. Next I'll add some of the tank water to its box. Then eventually, I'll release it to join the others.
