Milford or doubtful sound?

We have done day-trips on both (Milford three, Doubtful one), and both were good experiences. However I really prefer Milford Sound by a significant margin - it is dramatic, enclosing and hugely scenic. Doubtful is much bigger and more expansive, and still super-nice - but not quite the same buzz of being in a fiord. Plus the drive to and from Milford Sound has a lot of good stuff to see and do in its own right.

Coalcliff- i’ve looked up a few things on Reddit in the last 24 hours and you always seem to have great responses. I saw a response about whether it was worth it to go to Uluru but now can’t find it. What is different about Uluru that makes it a “must see” and is the weather bearable in early March?

February s the hottest month, and early March can still be very hot, with 42°C occurring. The climate cools pretty quickly by the end of March into April.

Thanks for the info! As I mentioned, I read a comment of yours where you talk about why Uluru is so special but I can’t find it again. Could you cut and paste for me? I just want to make sure we’re not heading into a tourist trap for a lot of money.
