1960 Oahu vacation photo of taken by my deceased mother-in-law. I believe this was at a Hukilau at Laie Bay (pre-Luau era).

1960 photo of a relatively brand new International Marketplace. The original version was so much better than the remodeled version introduced in 2016.

I recently found and scanned this old Kodachrome slide photograph my dad shot of my brothers dressed up as Luke and R2-D2 for Halloween in 1977. As you can see, we made the costumes ourselves (except for the Toys-R-Us Light Saber).

UH dorm balcony 35 Years ago, my new roommate pinned "The Rules" list on his thumbtack board over his desk. I asked him what it was and he said "my girlfriend back in Seattle told me to post this when I moved away to college". After reading it I made him BURN the rules and photographed the moment.

Found some old Waikiki slides in my deceased mother-in-law's drawer (she took a camera everywhere when she was young). I believe she visited Honolulu in 1960. What building is that being constructed in the distance? And anyone know the story on the concrete piling in the sand?

Who remembers having mid-day cocktails in this Waikiki bar back in the 80s?
