Hi everyone thank you for your comments, this is the exact reason I posted on here, according to google maps and sat nav maps all I planned was doable, a route was planned and it was tight but all looked possible. Then you guys brought to my attention things I hadn’t planned for like all the construction and wild fires as we don’t get those issues over here as it never stops bloody raining lol. We are now looking at landing in Denver still and travelling up to Casper then to Sheridan Little Bighorn monument then on to Cody (this is now 4 days two travelling and two in Cody) then over to gardiner where we are staying and spending more time in the area so we can visit billings or Bozmen ( your thoughts on which would be great) then heading back to Denver.

Bozeman is waaaay nicer than Billings. Bozeman is a nice college town with great hiking trails nearby while Billings is kinda just a large freight rail hub with oil refineries and a red lobster.
