EON: New Laws and International Security
Hello EON representatives.
It’s been a while since I’ve made a public appearance. Some of you might have noticed that I’ve slightly overstayed my tenure as chancellor. This is because the dear people responsible for running the chancellor elections are a bit too swamped with other duties. Rest assured, I will not hold this seat for much longer. In fact, this is my final opportunity to introduce a few more positive changes to EON. So, let’s begin.
Criminal Extradition Laws
I propose that EON implement official laws governing extradition. If a foreigner is found guilty of violating a country’s laws, that country must extradite the individual to their home state and may revoke their visa access. However, if the individual has committed an act of terrorism or political assassination (or an attempt thereof) against a state, the offending individual is to be handed over to the government of the state they have acted against, rather than their home state.
If an individual enters an EON member state without a visa, they will not benefit from extradition laws and will be tried according to the local laws of that state.

Diplomatic Immunity
Certain political figures, such as EON representatives, shall be granted diplomatic immunity. When visiting another EON member state, if an individual with diplomatic immunity is found guilty of breaking that country’s laws, they are to be extradited to their home country without any additional repercussions. However, after the extradition, the host country where the crime was committed reserves the right to revoke the diplomatic immunity of the offending political official, should they choose to do so. This measure is intended to help prevent major political incidents.
On a related note, if this law passes, hell will immediately revoke council representative Vulkan’s diplomatic immunity on account of his attack on Dis following the Dispater incident.

R&A Spy Incident
I have become aware that R&A has been using their unrestricted access to EON states to secretly spy on our governments. This behavior has bred a lot of mistrust. While they parade as pacifistic humanitarians, their inner machinations might not be as benign. They possess potentially sensitive information on any number of EON members, which could be used in malign ways.
As such, I have decided to ban R&A from all EON-controlled land. Individual EON members may, of course, choose to suspend this ban for their own territories. However, if R&A is found operating on any territory where they are explicitly prohibited, they will be treated as a hostile force.
