Your best methodologies to avoiding plateaus?
Nothing is more frustrating than being plateaued, whether it’s a specific lift or just your training in general.
During my novice phase, I tried to follow the general advice of just train hard and progressive overload. However, when I tried this, I could never consistently make progress and sometimes I got weaker and my lifts stalled even though I was a weak beginner. It took me a while to figure out my methodologies that worked best for me, but ever since, I’ve been progressing better than when I was a plateaued novice.
I’m curious to see what other people have done to continually progress their training. Hopefully this discussion help those that are stalled out right now.
