Hoyas in PON

I have recently started hearing some controversy about Hoyas in PON. I thought Hoyas in PON was the way to go and was becoming the norm! The ones I have in PON are all doing great so far. What is the controversy about it? What is the experience of everybody who have experience with Hoyas in PON
