Did I mess up my substrate??

Hello r/hermitcrabs! I just set up my crabatat yesterday after lots of research. But ofcourse I saw this video just now.

Apparently I was supposed to leave the substrate dry?? I added water to make all of it sand castle consistency.

Is this going to be a big problem?? I don't want mold. How can I fix this?
