Do we still have courtship before marriage?

There were times when people took time to know each other without getting intimate(Physically at least).
Today, things have changed. People smash on day 1 and break up after 2 months not havig known the person.
Could it be that we have become too casual or are there still people who take time to understand their potential partners without secretly grinding behind the scenes?
