A METROIDVANIA WHERE NO CORNERS WERE CUT!

HeroSquare is a metroidvania game, grabbing onto the feel of classics such Adventure on the Atari 2600, or Metroid on the NES. The game is built around a parry mechanic, that has you reflecting hundreds of enemy bullets back at them, making for simple but engaging gameplay.

The game unfolds across several major areas with unique enemies and challenges. Along this right-angle journey you will uncover hints and suggestions as to the nature of the world you're in. Exploration will reward you with new powerful abilities, but scouring every corner also yield hidden items that can make a dramatic difference when facing off with the numerous bosses lurking in the far corners of the world.
