I think this is folliculitis decalvans
Hello I have had this for about 5+ years and this is the worst its ever been. It has spread to the back of scalp as well. It’s itchy, & painful. I have been on doxycycline (100mg a day) and I use a 5% peroxide wash and head and shoulders for some relief. I got these from my dermatologist and they are expected to put me on accutane. If anyone has folliculitis decalvans does accutane at least elevate the pain and itching?
