During the early rescue scene in Furiosa (2024), Fang snatched the gun from Mr Harley to fire it at Furiosa and her mom. This demonstrates that Mr Harley has always been sympathetic towards her, not just at the end, even though he’s a very small character

I love the way Scrotus instantly grins when Immortan Joe says the plan of the negotiation is to listen to Dementus, then kill him on the spot. Scrotus is a big fan

For everything and anything Mad Max.
In the BTS for Furiosa, the actors came up with big backstories for their characters. Matuse (Fang) implies that Fang had a history in the criminal underworld, and mentioned a story where Fang caught two men and brought their heads to Dementus

While I’ve definitely encountered toxic Snyder fans, ive also seen a lot of equally awful haters that I feel don’t get brought up enough. I wish people mellowed out about Snyder all around, because the discussion around him has gotten progressively meaner
Subreddit for those who directly violated Rule 3, telling Snyder fans to "move on."
Dementus from Furiosa has a really cool transition throughout the movie that shows him deteriorating, from the Red Dementus to the Dark Dementus

Chris Hemsworth as Dementus in Furiosa is one of my favorite villains of the last decade. Entertaining and charismatic, but also capable of horrible atrocities. There’s an underlying layer of pain to his actions

Really cool interview of Hemsworth talking about how he changed Dementus from the script. Terrific performance

Thor from Twilight of the Gods is an unkillable menace that just phases through everything. Love it

Nicholas Hoult is such an incredible actor who’s worked with a lot of interesting people. Im excited to see him as Luthor going forward while hopefully having time for other projects too

Any idea which vfx house did the opening for the Rebel Moon directors cut? I thought it was a really cool sequence that was entirely cut out of the original release with no information on it

In the directors cut of Rebel Moon (2024), these three robots witness a violent act and do the wise monkey poses. See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. This shows how the robots ignore the cruelty around them until Jimmy rebels

Dog Man (2025) was actually pretty great and very charming.

I find it interesting that in the flashback where Immortal has his golden age cheesy costume, it’s the one time he looks calm and content, as if it was a simpler time for him

I think Dementus from Furiosa is one of the best villains of the last few years. Such a memorable performance in my opinion. Easily my favorite Chris Hemsworth role

TIL that Tom Cruise really wanted to play Rorschach in Watchmen 2009. Zack Snyder wanted him to play Ozymandias, but it didn’t pan out. He thought Cruise was too distracting to play Rorschach
