Middle-aged man harassed my friend at her takeaway in HB and then dined and dashed – should we report it?

My friend (f/20s) runs a takeaway at Zürich main station, and just now, she had a troubling encounter with a middle-aged man. He approached her, started asking where she was from, if she was single, and also asked questions about the menu. When she explained the menu and came infront the display, he touched her waist, which made her very uncomfortable, so she quickly moved back behind the cash register.

She served him a burger and an iced tea, but halfway through eating, he came back to ask for another iced tea. When it was time to pay, he claimed he did not have cash on him and said he would withdraw some. However, he left and never came back, essentially dining and dashing.

To make matters worse, he was reportedly asking other young female clients if they were single too. The situation is upsetting not just because he didn’t pay, but also because of his inappropriate behavior towards her and potentially others.

Would it make sense to go to the police at this point?

She has never reported anything to the police before and feels like it might not be a big deal.
