[loz] [alttp] my favorite and most nostalgic game!
OSixink, I just wanted to share a nostalgic memory about one of my favorite games of all time-The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Game Boy Advance. I was around 11 or 12 years old (my memory's a bit fuzzy), and my nana, who basically raised me, introduced me to it. She had this blue Game Boy that she used to play when she was younger, along with a grey one. I'll never forget the first time I powered it on and heard that iconic Game Boy loading screen sound. It was like a sweet lullaby to my ears as a kid. The moment the game started, I was hooked. The story, the lore, and the world just pulled me in. I have so many fond memories of sitting in the living room playing it while my family watched TV in the background. The puzzles? Oh man, those were no joke for a kid like me. I remember struggling on some of them for days, even weeks. Sometimes I'd get so frustrated I'd have to take a break, but I always came back because I couldn't stay away for long. That game was more than just entertainment-it was life-changing. It sparked my lifelong love for The Legend of Zelda franchise and its incredible lore. To this day, every time I think about that game or hear the music, I feel this overwhelming sense of nostalgia and gratitude for the memories it gave me. I'd love to hear your stories. Did this game (or any Zelda game) have a similar impact on your life? What's your most nostalgic memory of playing it or any other Zelda game?
