I reached my goal weight but not my goal physique. Continue in deficit or switch to maintenance? (Progress pics)
Hi everyone,
I’m 5’3 and started my fitness journey last February at 140 lbs. I’ve hit my goal weight of 120 lbs, but I’m not quite satisfied with my physique yet (progress pic)
Currently, I do PPL six times a week with 30 minutes of cardio afterward. I eat around 1500-1700 calories per day and I make sure I eat at least 100g of protein daily.
Should I stay in a deficit to keep losing fat, or switch to maintenance calories to focus on building more muscle? These are some examples of what I aspire to look like.
