Is WoW worth playing in 2023?

Hey Reddit.

I am one of those " I quit 5 -7 years ago but once in a blue moon I pay for a month sub to then ultimately, not really use it " players. I suppose the only thing that's changed is i've switched to MacOS for career reasons and my accessibility to other AAA games and FPS type games is automatically limited by having an apple device and so just based on that alone, knowing that WoW is optimized for Apple Silicon and that - it's really the only game I've ever played that performs well on apple devices... I am reconsidering yet again.

Does it still feel like a one player game? How is PVP these days? I never enjoyed PVE honestly, what's changed PVP wise? Can I just hit max level and farm PVP off rip? Does Arena still require a party? Can you queue up solo? anything at all in that category that's fun anymore?
