Y’all burning pine wood in your stove??

I have never burned pine firewood in my stove cuz I always heard you’ll get a lot of creosote build up in your chimney and potentially a chimney fire but I was talking to someone and they said burning green wood is a way bigger source of creosote then pine and they burn pine all the time, is this how most people think? I work construction so I’m interested in burning pine lumber scraps mostly, any thoughts?
