Anyone else just feel out of place at Laurier?

I’m in first year BBA living on campus and don’t have a single friend here so far. I had to miss o-week because of vacation and already felt a bit behind but even now when I try talking to people it’s just like everyone’s so closed off. Everyone either has a friend group from the first week or people they know from high school. The people I’ve tried to talk to have literally never spoke to me again after talking to them. It’s weird because I am a bit introverted but never struggled to make friends before and here it’s just like nobody even tries to get to know you or anything. I also missed the deadlines for most clubs so that’s on me I guess. I don’t know if it’s the school or me but it’s just kind of weird and I feel very out of place.
