Assembling a Leadership(Church of Calamity)

As the orders of the Perditor Plague Paladins come together and begin to solidify the leaders of the orders are selected. Their motives and backgrounds are varied, but they are all dedicated and recognized as among the best of of their orders.

Stonebreakers-Earth/Strength Calam is a Dragonborn with a hero worship of Atriox that even many even in the Church of Calamity find overzealous at times, but all agree that I’m his dedication to serving the Lord Calamity is unyielding and his ability to master his give strength and Geomancy makes him the single strongest of the Stonebreakers capable of destroying entire castles with his bare hands. His name before joining the order is unknown as he shed it for his new name to signify his dedication, not quite taking the full name of Calamity for even he recognized he cannot compare to the Lord Calamity in fullness.

Wallkeepers- Earth/Endurance Hugo Shieldoor is a human and a former royal guard whose king was deposed by a group of wizards. The wizards were not necessarily evil, but misguided, believing their ability to rule was greater than the king Hugo served, who while not a great ruler was at least adequate. Hugo sees wizards as unworthy of the respect and authority they are often given in society. He is reserved and cautious in nature and as head of the Wallkeepers is in charge of the defenses of the orders’ headquarters.

Worldwatchers- Earth/Gravity The Masked Wolf is a strange individual, who never reveals their face or name. They are excellent at anticipating how to support the other orders and showed an intimate knowledge of Geomancy, gravity and the laws of physics. They have the added quirk of being quite good at remembering details others miss and love to eat, often saying it is a pleasure too many take for granted.

Atlases- Strength/Endurance Marshall Williams leads the Atlases. He is a simple human man but his skill with weapons his unmatched even among his already exceptional order. He despises wizards for always looking down on him in the past for preferring his weapons to magic. Now he is able to fight tirelessly to show them how wrong they were.

Burdenbearers- Strength/Gravity Meroom is a loxodon, one of the elephant folk. He is in unique among the orders in that he does not care much for Atriox as an individual. He does however believe that the destruction of wizards is a necessary evil. His home was hit hard by the failed and his people suffered for it. While he may not care for the Calamity and his destructive tendencies, he at least acknowledges Atriox is less likely to destroy the world by accident than the wizards of the realms. He is cautious and thoughtful and rumor has it that the political campaign to elect the Atriox to the Council is his brainchild.

Deathbringers- Strength/Plague T’chiksin of the Hive is the leader of the Deathbringers, he is skilled with all manner of weapons and is unafraid of utilizing his new plague abilities to the fullest. Many of his hive follow him unquestionably and are rumored to even be willing to throw their lives away at his command to spread the plagues they wield. They have an intense hatred of wizard kind, due to being a creation of an evil wizard who wanted cheap slave labor and soldiers. Then they were hunted mercilessly by the ‘good’ wizards as monsters that needed to be exterminated.

Worldwalkers- Endurance/Gravity Aretar is a wind fairy. He loves making storms and has often caused many natural disasters himself though at a much lesser scale than the Calamity himself. He sees this as an opportunity to learn from one of the best. He is often considered flighty, but those who work with him know he will always find a way to succeed, even through unconventional means.

Poisonbearers- Endurance/Plague Hydrozeno leads the Poisonbearers. He was once an elf but was experimented on by wizards seeking to make a supersoldier race. Dubbed Hydra Zero he was infused with the full regenerative capabilities of a Hydra. He has served as a mercenary after massacring those who tortured him. His weapon skills are great, but he also excels at utilizing his plague abilities to weaken his foes as they fight. This slow weakening plus his regeneration allow him to grind away any opponent with time.

Healthfallen- Gravity/Plague Young Hugo is a young man who excels at out of the box thinking. He is referred to as Young Hugo in order to avoid people confusing him for Hugo Shieldoor. He is fast and quick witted. That combined with his youth make people unlikely to look twice at him allowing him to get close to his targets to assassinate them.

Landkillers- Earth/Plague Illik has assumed command of the Landkillers. He is a dragon who often takes the shape of kobold. Even before joining the Landkillers he was well known for his carefully crafted plagues. Now he has found a place among one of the most secretive and deadly of the orders.

Of course they all endorse the following:

CalamitytotheCouncil!

Vote for Atriox!

/uw all of these leaders are my own creations, most drawn from my arsenal of D&D characters. The exception is Illik who is u/Master-Tanis who requested to join the Landkillers and was made their leader.
