Elphaba’s De-Greenification

In the movie, they pay off her “degreenify youuuuuuu” bit from “The Wizard and I” (where it’s obvious she desperately wants it but is lying to herself and says it’s not important) with the Wizard asking her if she wants it fixed. And she kind of pauses and says “no”.

I thought this was really cool- her accepting herself verbally before her big moment. Self acceptance at last, despite “I’m Not that Girl”.

This isn’t in the play, is it? It’s been a while since I’ve seen it and can’t remember.
