Signage for Destination Wedding

My fiancé and I opted for a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. The resort is going to handle a lot of things in-house.

However, one thing they don't provide is signage. We must bring that ourselves. We at least need signage for the table seating chart. We also would like a sign welcoming our guests to the ceremony. The main issue is figuring out how to get something there in our suitcases. The resort will not accept shipments.

Do you have any recommendations or experience with this? Our initial idea is a to have cloth signage and we can drape it on a frame that we can assemble when we get there. The issue we've found is that even the pieces of a disassembled frame are too long for a suitcase.
