Help me pick!

Will wear a hoop under both to make them more ball gowny and will also be closing up the illusion on the neckline on both. I’m so stuck between the two. My family prefer dress 2 but I’m obsessed with the detailing on the first dress. However, lots of people buy the first dress and for some reason that has put me off a bit. Any help would be seriously appreciated!!! Thanks everyone!
