Stuck between two similar dresses!
I went into dress shopping thinking I wanted something quirky and unusual (my everyday style is a little kooky) and was shocked at how simple my favorites were. These are the two current front-runners. My venue is completely outdoors, at a historic adobe house with essentially a giant lawn, trees, twinkle lights, lots of grass.
Dress 1: I like the more modern neckline and the bow (which can be moved up to the waist). I don’t love the straight waistline between the bodice and skirt. This dress will likely be cheaper and need fewer alterations.
Dress 2: I like the more organic draping of the waist and the movement/visual interest in the skirt. The neckline feels classic but a little boring. It does not come with a bow but I plan to add one. This dress will likely be more expensive as it needs more alterations (there is a side slit I plan to close and will possibly shortening the train). I’m also a little concerned about the bottom of the train curling up - is this something fixed by hemming/steaming?
Thank you!!!
