What style is this?

I watch a lot of Visual Mind's videos on YT and am fascinated by how she just kind of free paints. She doesn't always sketch but her pieces always come together so well. Sometimes it's a doodle type style and others she's just painting the shapes that make up things. How can I practice this? I don't even feel creative enough to envision something I want to paint and just start painting. Just start painting shapes... is there an easy way to practice painting without drawing first? How can I train my mind to paint shapes? Sorry if this doesn't make any sense or is a silly question. I have zero art background, I just like watercolor painting.
