Pressure to be Asian

Guys I’m start this off I live in Australia (the second most multicultural country in the world) and at my school Asians outway any other race by a landslide, there is only a handful of ‘white’ people in my year, I’m very very white passing (btw my dads full Asian and my mums full white), I have a very white name and the only rlly Asian features I have is slightly hooded eyes dark curly hair and tan skin, I was a always called whitewashed , one time someone legit said “u can’t be Asian cause you have small eyes”, I started feeling kind of self conscious abt it and I started speaking my dads language to ppl and show off my Asian side and now I’m getting called “wannabe Asian”, “try hard to be Asian” so yeah guys erm idk I feel disconnected with my white side now and also strangely disconnected with my Asian side 🫤
