3 sound exciters and a 2.1 channel amp question….
I have regular speakers connected for the standard, default game sounds/music/audio. But I’m looking to compliment that standard setup a bit.
I have three exciters and a small 2.1 channel amp that all play well together. My question is, in VPX, I’m assuming I could have the left and right and sub channel each push separate audio feeds to the individual channels, right? That is, I could tell the ball roll sound to route itself to the .1 channel on the amp, and the ambient sounds to the left and right channels?
Perhaps I could have poppers and rebound sounds fed to just one of the channels as well. The audio feeding the amp would be via 3.5mm jack - so 2.1 channels is all I’m looking to harness here.
In my other games that don’t have special audio channel routing, I can just adjust the passthrough frequencies of each exciter to somewhat control what audio they output.
I’m just thinking outside the box - trying to utilize these three exciters to their fullest and make my controller a bit more immersive.
Thanks!
