Why hasn't dunkey gotten into politics?

Dunkey could use his reputation as the world-record holder for Bowser's Big Bean Burrito to make a difference on important political issues, like why does Donkey Kong look like that in the new Mario Kart game? But instead he's doing NOTHING because he's in league with Big Banana. Think about it.
