My boyfriend said I’m bad at kissing and now I’m too embarrassed to do it ever again

I’m 21, and I’ve never had a boyfriend before him. So, I have no clue how kissing works at all.

When we kissed for the first time, I definitely knew I was being awkward and doing it wrong, but I didn’t say anything.

He’s in the military, so after that, he had to leave and he’ll be gone for 9 months. So we’ve only had the one make out and we won’t be doing it again for a while.

Well today, we were on the phone, being silly and whatever, and he said that I don’t know how to kiss. He basically said that I didn’t move enough and I was awkward.

I don’t want to do it ever again. And it’s not like I can practice, he’s gonna be gone for like a year now. Idk what to do. Now I wish he’d stay gone and we could just be long distance forever so I don’t have to worry about kissing ever again.
