Garden Help

My garden has parts of it that get 4-5 hours of light (maybe 6) in the summer and parts that get 2 1/2 - 4h of light. My question is, what do i plant in each? Also, salad crops or cool season crops are not an option, the heat is too high wehre i am (northern egypt, 10b).

Also, some parts are shallow (15 - 20cm), some parts are deeper (30 - 38cm), with whats underneath being a sandy soil that i rarely see roots penetrate. Maybe if it was planted in the sand then sure, thats its only growing medium, but otherwise (there are exceptions, like lantanas) they dont grow in the sand
