Do Sauder grads end up becoming ethically minded professionals?
I know when you start out in certain fields ethics is not always a concern of the people who hire you. Results and getting the job done are what matters.
I just kind of wonder if Sauder grads end up becoming ethically minded professionals in the long run or do they embrace a more cutthroat, results driven mindset in order to advance their career and resume at all costs? I don't consider ethics to be the same as "socially responsible business". In fact I think some of these enterprises are not very ethical.
In the long run I think the people with ethics become more successful and take more pride in their work and life. Also, some of the most admired companies are often more responsible as well.
