Does being trans make you automatically queer?

I was just told by two grown adults on Twitter that being trans is queer and all transgender people (even heterosexual) are MORE queer than cis homosexuals. I feel like that's just an excuse for not seeing trans men as real men or trans women as real women and it also feels chronically online to me. But now I'm wondering even if you're heterosexual do you still think transgender people are queer?
