Longest flight itinerary you have taken (inc. transfers etc.)?
Curious to hear what your longest itinieray have been?
By definition, I would say longer layovers in which you’ve left the airport is fine, as long as the stop really never was part of your journey. So not trips where the transfer really was intended, but just happened to be so because of the itineary in getting from A to B (and not like a multi-city trip/itinerary).
Myself, I had a total travel time of something 50h when I headed back home from South Korea, broke after having been backpacking so had to stick to the cheapest option. Itinerary was from Jeju Aiport - Manila (16h layover overnight) - Dubai (6h layover) - Istanbul (4h) - Copenhagen final. Everything also went supersmooth actually. Felt quite surreal once I landed after having basically only spent my time travelling through airports the past two days.
EDIT: everything went well, except my last leg with Pegasus from Istanbul to Copenhagen. Noticed we are coming in quite low to CPH and after a few minutes, the pilots starts laughing over the PA system ans saying ’Haha, let’s try that again’ - very reassuring.
