Newbie Q about Hasbro Releases

Hi All -

New guy here but have loved Transformers all my life! Pleasure to be amongst you.

Question: How do you folks choose what to buy broadly? How long should I wait?

How do we know what releases are coming out this year? Are there more updates/announcements coming?

I’m trying to decide whether to preorder the first wave of Aerialbots vs. waiting to see if other G1 stalwarts will get released or reissued ala Studio Series. I have a budget and if I go in on the Aerialbots I won’t really have wiggle room for, say, a Sideswipe or Wheeljack. I really want to pick up the G1 guys from my childhood.

I watch Hasbro Pulse and of course know about Age of Primes. I’ve done some googling and didn’t find anything concrete. I appreciate any thoughts you are willing to share. Thank you in advance!
