Any advice on how to keep your toddler entertained at a restaurant?
We have a large family meal coming up and I dread taking my 14 month old out with us, as she gets bored so easily. Bit equally, I want her to come and so do my family, especially as she has to get used to going to restaurants.
However. Unless we are feeding her constantly, she will just scream and want to be out of her high chair (she can't walk just yet though).
I was just wondering what to do. Because I have bought one of those busy books with lots of Velcro, zips, buttons and fidget toys etc in it. And I always bring lots toys with us. But she just drops them onto the floor.
I don't want her going on a phone or tablet, as I don't like the idea of her going on that so young.
The only thing that seems to work is to keep inundating her with snacks before and after the meal, as the waiting around is what triggers her the most.
It's hard cos she's not old enough to talk or understand, but it just makes things so much more stressful!
Does anyone have any tips or advice?
