[Ps2] [2000's] niche skateboard game

i remember as a kid playing this animated (cartoonish) skateboard game on the ps2 where the mc had blond hair and would gradually unlock areas around a city after completing challenges or task and where'd you either face or fight robots or bad guys or something, it's been so long since i played it its foggy but i remember the first title was ""skate" something, does this sound familiar to anyone? it's always been bugging my brain for years
