Does anyone here also play fiddle? Need tune recommendations for a beginner.

My daughter is learning the fiddle (very beginner - just a few months in) and can competently but slowly play her A and D scales as well as some of the basic tunes in her instruction book (twinkle twinkle, a simplified Ode to Joy, etc).

I'm looking for something simple we can start working towards together. Anybody know of good, easy tunes to get us started? I'll be playing a low whistle or maybe working on my flute so I'm not bored while she works her way through it.

Something that stays in the 1st octave so she doesn't have to bounce strings too much preferably.
