Yet another post about building a PC

I tried my best to read through posts and I get mixed answers. I see so many people say things like "I have a x year old laptop and tos works fine. or, I have 5 charts open with x studies with 3 monitors."

But I feel like without context we don't know if these set up are working all smooth and stuff at like 9:30 am when its the craziest time. How many charts or scripts they have etc

Right now I am to either buy a prebuilt desktop or buy one from Dell.com I guess dell.com.

I read some people just say, get a gaming computer and you'll be fine. I dont feel quite confident in that answer though because TOS isn't graphic card heavy right? I mean I've seen people mentioning gaming pc and the person is just using a laptop. So I take umbrage with that advice,

My current set up is

The Dell XPS 15 9560 is a laptop that was released in 2017. It has a 15.6-in LED display, 32 GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM, and a 512 GB PCIe solid state drive. It also has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB DDR5 graphics and runs Windows 10 Professional 64bit English. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

I factory restarted the computer to only have a few programs on it
I only have TOS and sometimes chrome running. A lot of times the GPU is being maxed out by DWM and I dont know why. I even try to set it to be used by the NVIDIA GPU and it doesn't. I've togggled the hardware acceleration in the graphics settings too.

I want to run OBS in the future.

I have 3, 2k monitors connected to a thunderbolt dock.

My workspace is

So on one screen I have the main dashboard with what I posted.

On another screen I basically have the same thing but detached, and then about 6 detached gadget. like 4 watch list and 1 message and 1 live news

then on my 3rd screen is my other programs, like chrome. and Webull

Can you help me? I was going to start with Dell and finding the highest speed core (single it appears TOS is single core heavy, and work from there. I mean I do plan on doing other things with the computer like maybe video editing too
