How to get better at gwent

i have a huge problem pretty much every chance at getting some good cards i waisted the baron oofed himself anf the lady in white orchard is also mad at me and the game forces me to play gwent so often and i lose everytime because the enemy somehow pulls 40 cards out of his ass while i got one left so pls somebody help me
