Fingers crossed the community isn't peaking pre-release in quality
I don't mean player numbers now. Of course I hope it will be high.
What I mean now is I remember many games that had really nice communities before launch, people enjoying betas, waiting together, posting memes etc.
Then the game launches and first 2 weeks are like honeymoon period but after it it just turns into vitriol, toxicity, hate, negativity. "The game will die because...", "Devs, why are you so incompetent..." "Anyone playing this way or that way sucks" etc posts galore.
So many originally good communities going bad because of all the negativity. This being a PvP game, I'm sure there will be no shortage of such posts, I just hope the game will be great and positive posts will balance it out.
I also hope Devs will communicate too, the worst thing they can do is taking ages to post updates on things and release updates.
Well, either way, looking forward to the launch and let's try to keep this a good community!
