Upgrade pre-ordered exotics to 250+? (Lullaby and Ruthless)

So I pre-ordered this game when it came out, got the deluxe version, with that I got the lullaby and the Ruthless exotic weapons. I realised I still kept (Both level 1) them but never upgraded them past 250+ and now I can't upgrade them to level 40 or reconfigure.

Can I still upgrade these two weapons?
