Am I getting ghosted?

Slept on call did all of that, he made me feel so wanted I know he has tried to commit before but it's only been a few days into us talking... his uncle got diagnosed with cancer and then he just stopped putting any effort into our conversations. Idk if this is how people react to these situations or if he's just ghosting me (had to delete the previous post due to the name being exposed)
