Low lying cord
We had an ultrasound for newborn these were the FINDINGS: The tip of the conus ends at the superior endplate of L3 which is slightly low-lying. The filum does not appear thickened. There is normal CSF pulsation of the nerve roots. No neurocutaneous fistula or cyst is identified. The posterior elements appear intact.
They are suggesting mri at one year of age . Anyone else go through something similar Is there’s a possibility it’s not tethered even with the low lying cord and uneven gluteal crease ?
