Why are teenage girls always trying to start stuff??

Ok so my best friend texted me after ignoring me for 3 days. She was pissed at me for something, so I said sorry but she was super confrontational so obviously i said something back. Which i probably shouldnt have done but she kept saying things to make me mad so obviously im going to respond. Finally i just asked her if we were good or if we shoild just not talk anymore. She was like trying to keep the argument going?? I told her i just wanted tk be over because fighting over text is stupid. I told her if shes still upset than we can talk it over in person but she said no??? And we have to see her at school tommorow so i asked her if we gonna just sit in awkward silence or work it out. She was literally like I'll just try to ignore you. WHAT I'm not trying to do all that like what normal person is???? Idk I just can't deal with all that, just tell me if you want to be friends or not?? Is this just what all teenage girls do or is my friend being weird?
