Is this normal?

So I (18M) am still a virgin and it seems that everyone around me is going out, getting laid, getting into relationships, the whole shabang. Me on the other hand am still single and now it's making me think maybe I should be doing that too? I've wanted to have my first time but I'd rather it was with someone I love and also someone else having their first time too so we learn together if that makes sense? It just seems like I'm an outlier with being a single Pringle but maybe my perception is wrong.
