Is this normal/will it settle? Fine line tattoo above elbow.

I got my first ever tattoo done on Thursday. The first picture is taken immediately after it was done.

My artist told me to keep the secondskin on for 2-3 days. As it’s above my elbow, it had started to peel and bubble from moving my arm and so I carefully removed it in the shower tonight. I took the second photo after this.

After taking some comparison pictures, I’m noticing that it looks a lot bolder and darker than it did initially. Is this to be expected in the healing process? I’m aware that fine line tattoos will spread out overtime, but I’m a bit anxious that it’s happened so soon, and wondering whether it will only continue to?
