Bad reaction

This is the second time I have had a bad reaction to a tattoo. I have 4 so 50% of my tattoos have reacted poorly. Both are on my arms, left and right. And both were done by different artists in different shops. It’s so itchy and hurts really bad. What should I do? My artist told me to take the wrap off and keep it clean and it’ll go away in about a week.
