What on-prem cluster tech are you using?

We are just swapping out some kit that is end of life. It is 3 x Dell VM Hosts, with Dell MD Storage arrays. Accessed via ISCSI for VM storage.

We replaced a similar cluster a couple of years back with a hyper converged setup using storage spaces with Scale Out File Server. Seems to work well for VMs, but I don't really like it in terms of managing it.

Suppliers are sending me quotes with completely separated SANs and Hosts, costing a small fortune. Seems over engineered.

What are you on-prem guys using for VM clusters now? I was hoping for something out the box. We have 10G switching in place and plenty of free ports. Thanks.
