Do you drive on back roads to avoid Sydney's sky high toll prices?

I don't drive for my main job, sometimes for my second job in hospitality/events. Even when out for fun I frequently avoid eastern distributor northbound, cross city tunnell and west connex to save money.

West connex now going to airport do pay for but only in one direction. West connex never seems busy. Are other drivers skipping the crazy tolls too?
