[X-Post - Seattle area] Had to put our sugar glider down. Recs for places to donate his large cage (4'x3'x1.5') and accessories/toys/etc?
[X-Posting from local subreddit for greater visibility]
We had to put our beloved 9-yo sugar glider Abu down this week (fuck cancer). He had a nice big ol' coated wire cage (4' tall, 3' wide, 1.5' deep, on wheels), and also lots of hanging toys/bells/wheels and there's plenty of leftover food/treats.
He was treated at CBEAM in Bothell, WA (they were great btw - highly recommend) and they suggested maybe Seattle Humane Society for donations, but also wanted to check here 1st to see if anyone has any other recommendations of places (esp exotic/smaller pet rescues) in need.
I assume the cage especially may be useful even for other types of animals (incl small birds?) due to its size, but def not an expert on the matter.
Any recommendations?
Thanks all.
