Anyone else get customers lying to try and get free food?
Had this lady come in and get a catering box and then demand two of the sandwiches be free because we messed up her sandwiches yesterday, the kicker? The only people working in the time frame she gave was me, my manager, and my District manager. And she was claiming she ordered a steak and was given a ham or something…. She had no receipt, I tried to pull up the receipts from that time yesterday and I couldn’t find anything but she was also yelling at me that she had to get going and didn’t have time for this and that she would just go elsewhere so I compromised and have 20% off her entire order just to make the sale. She said she had called the store but once again I was the one working during that time yesterday and no one else got any calls, we told her that and she was like “maybe it was a different store, but we only go here and they said we could replace the sandwiches” ?!????. No another store saying that does not mean we can do that tf? If it wasn’t busy and the threat of losing 5 footlongs worth of product I would’ve fought her more on it but oh well. Anyone else get crazy ahh customers like this?!
